FOR 10 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN TELLING GLOBAL, AWARD-WINNING STORIES.

FEATURE FILMS

From breakdancers in Yemen and a North Korean artist in Beijing, to a ramshackle zoo in Oman and the gridiron of American Samoa, our critically acclaimed films have consistently told heartfelt, nearly-impossible-to-believe, real-life stories. Partnering with top talent like Troy Polamalu, LeBron James, J. Cole, and Nas has allowed us to shine a spotlight on pressing global issues and give a voice to people in communities that are often overlooked or misunderstood.

“THE MESSENGER”

“SHAKE THE DUST”

“The falconer”

“Sjoberg and Winslow approach the narrative with the same delicate caution that Cai shows his beloved falcon, shading it with muted colors and a contemplative score (by Samuel Stewart). Their script places as much importance on what characters aren’t saying as on what they are, leaning into wordless giggles, companionable silences or worried gazes into the distance. Even as the boys’ moves become bigger and bolder — at one point, they steal a car to meet a dangerous smuggler — the film is scrupulous about not sensationalizing them. “The Falconer” wants to keep the focus on the subtly shifting dynamic between the boys, not on the excitement (or peril) of their adventure.” - The Hollywood Reporter

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

ADAM SJOBERG /

At the start of his career, Adam Sjoberg worked as a photojournalist and documentary filmmaker, living out of a suitcase while telling stories around the world. In 2014, he founded LOOSE LUGGAGE MEDIA to pursue ambitious global projects with leading brands and artists. Since then, he has directed and produced four feature films, created an award-winning podcast series, collaborated with brands including Apple, Mini Cooper, and Spotify, and worked alongside figures such as Bono, Troy Polamalu, Nas, Kanye West, and 21 Savage. His work has been recognized with numerous awards and international honors.

His first feature, "Shake the Dust" — a collaboration with Nas — captures breakdancers in Yemen, Colombia, Uganda, and Cambodia. His second, "I Am Sun Mu," an indie festival favorite, premiered in the DMZ between North and South Korea and follows a North Korean dissident artist under pressure from both Chinese and North Korean authorities. In 2021, he co-directed "The Falconer," the first feature shot entirely in Oman. Based on a true story, it went on to win more than a dozen awards, including two for Best Direction.

Adam’s commercial work spans dozens of countries, from artful brand documentaries like “STUDIOSWINE” for Mini Cooper and “Monster” about 21 Savage for Spotify, to global films and campaigns for clients such as Warby Parker and (RED). In 2021 he co-wrote, co-produced, and edited Spotify’s award-winning podcast "The Messenger," produced in partnership with J. Cole’s Dreamville Studios.

His latest feature, "Sons of Paradise," tells the story of Pro NFL Hall-of-Famer Troy Polamalu and American Samoa, weaving together themes of heritage, identity, and sport.

Adam lives in Lisbon, Portugal where he is developing new scripted and documentary films and writing a book of autobiographical essays.
